1. a) To conduct research and studies for the sustainable conservation of the Ankara goat
  2. b) To conduct genetic and environmental breeding researches and studies to improve mohair yield and quality.
  3. c) To conduct genetic and environmental breeding research and studies to utilize Ankara goat for meat and milk yield.
  4. d) To conduct research and studies to improve herd management practices in Ankara goat breeding, to protect its health and for treatment.
  5. e) To conduct research and studies on shearing and processing of mohair.
  6. f) To conduct research and studies to identify and develop industrial and traditional uses of mohair.
  7. g) To conduct research and studies on the economic sustainability of production in Ankara goat and breeding enterprises and to conduct various trainings in these enterprises.
  8. h) To cooperate with universities, institutes, centers and other relevant institutions in Turkiye and abroad, to conduct joint research and studies on Ankara goat and mohair
  9. i) To organize national and international seminars, conferences, workshops and similar meetings on Ankara goat and mohair.
