Ankara University, which benefits from the opportunities of the city, also offers its opportunities to the city. It continues to add value to Ankara by bringing the values of our districts together with scientific knowledge. Today, "Ankara University Ankara Goat and Mohair Application and Research Center" was opened in Güdül district. At the opening, Higher Education Council President Mr. Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Mr. Ahmet Akça, Ankara Deputies Mr. Zeynep Yıldız and Ms. Lütfiye Selva Çam, district mayors, district governors and senators of our university.

The painting Ankara Landscape, registered in the inventory of the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands and dated to the 18th century, was thought to be a painting of Aleppo for many years. However, Prof. Dr. Semavi Eyice, in his work 'An Old Picture of Ankara' published in 1972, revealed that the painting belonged to Ankara. With Eyice's work,   the work has been recognized in the academic field as a very important document that can contribute to Ankara urban studies. Ankara Goat and Mohair Application and Research Center held its 2nd Board of Directors Meeting in Güdül district in the presence of Ankara MP Zeynep Yılmaz and Mayor of Güdül, Muzaffer Yalçın. The projects to be carried out by the center and the exhibition planned to be held in the first months of 2024 were discussed.
